In 2021, I started recording videos to help CEOs that don’t have a marketing leader on their team, figure out that marketing thing. And I’m excited to say that this is my 100th video! And to celebrate, I went back through the archives, and picked out what for me were my favorite videos… the ones I thought provided maybe the most useful nuggets of help for CEOs.

So without further ado, go deeper with your outreach. This video was focused on investing more in your outreach, and rather than doing it at a surface level and focusing on eyes and ears, focus on hearts and minds. And make a difference, maybe even emotionally with your clients, even in B2B, that’s a payoff.
2. 5 CEO Marketing Misses
Another favorite was some lessons learned from the CEOs that I’ve spoken with, or worked with on common mistakes that they make at the very beginning of a marketing program. A lot about direction and values that make a huge difference in the effectiveness of a marketing program.
3. The 3 Marketing Superpowers
Another favorite, is the three marketing superpowers. These are actually the center of my book. And they’re focused on authenticity, intention and generosity. Unusual traits that allow a CEO of a company to actually create an effective marketing organization, no matter how much money they have to spend or how many people they have on their team.
4. 6 Ways It’s Not About You
Another favorite was focused on focusing on your customer, called 6 Ways It’s not about you. And this is really to get at the point of successful marketing has to be selfless and focused on your customer in, almost every way. If you can do that, your marketing’s gonna be better.
5. The 3 Levels of Customer Value
And last but not least, probably my favorite post is called The 3 Levels of Customer Value. And there’s actually a fourth level in there, which is a home run, super level, and I won’t give that one away. I hope you’ll give this one a listen.
